Why we built it
Running a group shouldn't be a second job.
The parents, coaches, teachers and volunteers who lead local groups do it for the kids and the community, not for the admin. But between the group chats, the spreadsheets, the payment apps and the email lists, just keeping everyone in the loop becomes a part-time job.
Grouperly was born from running groups like these: scout units, teams and volunteer groups. We built the tool we wished we'd had, one place for the calendar, the people, the money and the messages, that the next leader can pick up where the last one left off.
